We already know that we don’t want to host ads on our site or charge user fees. We have been collecting substantial donations from our supporters (thanks!!!), but independent revenue sources could really help us develop our tools and bring them to more people. So please help us choose which ideas most match our vision, which will make the most money, and which we can set up easily. All of the options have been chosen because they support our educational mission. Your responses will help us test each one for conflicts of interest that we might have missed.

I think the tipping idea really runs the risk of allowing companies a
very straight-forward way of manipulating results. Find someone who
likes you and encourage them to write a lot by paying them.
The rating schemes provided either on-line or to individual companies
sounds great —- seems like a way of increasing the impact of the
work and of increasing its visibility.
